There is in fact can too be a good thing.

For many donut lovers, there is nothing better than a freshly iced Krispy Kreme donut straight out of the deep fryer. But what if a donut went through the glazer several times?

What if a donut went through the glazer 25 times?

Apparently, a Krispy Kreme employee decided to find out. Jack Jones posted a video on TikTok that shows an Orignal Glazed donut being glazed over and over again. He then followed this video up with another, in which he and his friends attempt to eat the resulting pile of frosting (with a small amount of donut underneath).

In the first video, Jones explained that it was a slow working day, so he and his colleagues decided to experiment. Apparently the team leader was skeptical, but Jones and the other workers “told him it had to be done.”

He claims it took over an hour to complete 25 glazings and when everything was done, the over-glazed donut was too heavy to fit into a bag without breaking it.

The donut had also collapsed – partially – during the 25 glazings.

In the second video, Jones and his friends try to eat the donut. First, they show a cross section of the “monster” treat, which consists of a thick layer of frosting on top of the donut. Next is the taste test: of the four people who try it, three can only take a bite of it before giving up. The latter, however, was apparently able to finish it off.

Collectively, the two videos have been viewed over 4.3 million times.
