Robert Pattinson goes from vampire to a bat and Kristen Stewart still has his back.

While promoting his upcoming film "Seberg" at the Toronto International Film Festival, Stewart showed a bit of love for his new role in Batman, the co-star of "Twilight."

"I have the impression that he is the only one who can play this role," she told Marc Malkin of Variety. "I'm so happy for him. It's crazy. I am very very happy about that. I heard that and I was like, "Oh man!" It's awesome. "

Stewart also agreed that former actor Edward Cullen had the "perfect cheekbones" to play billionaire playboy Bruce Wayne.

Earlier in the day, Stewart sat in the studio Variety to expose his earlier claims that he had been told to hide his sexuality in order to get a Marvel movie. She made this remark in a recent interview with Harper's Bazaar.

"It's a conversation that has always existed," Stewart told Variety. "I have always radically rejected it." She added that it was not only Marvel Studios who had specifically encouraged her to hide her strange identity to get bigger roles.

"It was literally a big conglomerate thing," she said. "I'm sure they'd like to hire gays to be superheroes."

Could Stewart get Pattinson in "Batman" or another superhero movie? When asked on the carpet "Seberg" she supported the idea.

"I'm downstairs," she told Variety. "I'm certainly not lowering that."
