Kroger announced on Friday that it was recalling its frozen frozen sorted Medley and Ripe because of possible contamination by hepatitis A.

According to the Food and Drug Administration, no client illness has been reported so far.

Kroger removed potentially affected items from store shelves. They also launched its customer reminder notification system to alert customers who may have purchased the recalled item through receipt messages and phone calls.

Customers who have purchased the products mentioned must not consume them and must return them to a store for a full refund or replacement. Kroger says anyone who has consumed the affected product or has had symptoms should contact their health care provider or local health department.

The disease can occur between 15 and 50 days of exposure and includes fatigue, abdominal pain, jaundice, abnormal liver tests, dark urine and pale stools.

Customers with questions can contact Kroger at 1-800-KROGERS Monday through Friday from 8am to midnight EST and Saturday and Sunday from 8am to 9:30 pm. IS.
