The iPhone 11 series was announced just two weeks ago, but the rumor is already passing to the next generation. We've seen reports on possible display sizes ranging from 5.4 to 6.1 inches and 6.7 inches alongside smaller notches and 5G support. According to the latest forecast of Apple analyst Ming-Chi Kuo, the iPhone next year will bring a radical design change with a return to the chassis of the iPhone 4.
Kuo says the 2020 iPhones will bring a flat metal frame and a 2.5D glass construction. The new design and support of 5G is expected to result in an increase in demand, estimated at 85 million shipments by 2020. This will also result in higher production costs, which will be reflected in the final price of handsets.
The three new generation iPhones should come with OLED screens, while the two most expensive models are also expected to gain new ToF 3D cameras at the back.
