Kyle Busch broke the tie with Ron Hornaday Jr. for the NASCAR Truck Series victory record Saturday at Atlanta Motor Speedway, winning 52nd place in a rain-delayed race with nine laps to go.
"It means a lot," said Busch. "It's a big problem for me and a big problem for this team."
The first 16 wins were won by Billy Ballew's trucks before Busch set up his own Kyle Busch Motorsports team. In Ballew's company in Atlanta, the Busch Tundra bore the name of the former owner.

"Billy Ballew was on board with us today," Busch said. "And Billy is right here too, so we had to put Billy Ballew back in my truck to win here, so maybe we'll have to make it happen every year."
Busch took the first leg and had an unplanned stop soon after, but went from 24th to 1st place to win the second leg and won his fifth victory in Atlanta – and the first since 2009.
Busch is set to enter the 500th career NASCAR Cup game on Sunday.
Johnny Sauter was second and Grant Enfinger, Brett Moffitt and Ben Rhodes completed the top five.
There was a red flag with 13 laps to go after an accident involving several trucks on the last stretch. The trucks were under surveillance until the race was delayed by weather conditions and resumed with five laps to go. Busch was never challenged after a race in which he drove 92 of 130 laps.
