Korver, 38, said triumphantly to graduates of his alma mater during an inaugural speech that his career in the NBA had been longer than the photocopier.

"I have been more or less sold for an undisclosed amount of money. I later learned that the Nets had used this money to pay the registration fees of their summer league team and, with the remaining money, they bought a photocopier. "
