The Cardinals rookies arrived Thursday and already more than half of the preliminary class is under contract – including first overall pick Kyler Murray.

Murray, cornerback Byron Murphy, halfback Zach Allen, sixth-round receiver KeeSean Johnson, offensive lineman Joshua Miles and halfback Caleb Wilson all signed their original four-year contract in the NFL.

"Everything I dreamed of," Murray said. "For me, being in Arizona and being cardinal, I can honestly say there is no place I would prefer to be, it makes me smile, knowing that I will have the opportunity of my life for quarterback of this team, work for that and win that. "

Murray's contract comes with a fifth-year team option for the 2023 season. His salary cap has been set at $ 6.39 million, with a signing bonus of $ 23.59 million, figures blocked by the collective agreement.

"It's only the beginning," Murray said. "I plan to work as hard as I can, leading this team to a lot of wins and, hopefully, a lot of rings."

The rookies start their minicamp on Friday, with practices running until Sunday.

The rookies sign five Cardinals rookies have yet to finalize their contract: wide receiver of the second round, Andy Isabella, wide receiver of the fourth round, Hakeem Butler, safety of the fifth round, Deionte Thompson, the lineman offense of the sixth round Lamont Gaillard and the seventh end of defensive round Michael Dogbe.
