Kylie Jenner and Travis Scott face backlash for Stormi’s surprise with yellow school bus

[ad_1]

On August 24, parents Kylie Jenner and Travis Scott once again went big for their daughter Stormi Webster. On Jenner’s Instagram story, she posted a photo of Stormi looking dumbfounded next to a yellow school bus. While it might sound a bit strange already, there is another wrinkle to the story. Apparently, Stormi wanted a school bus to play and ride, and fans have a big reaction that a yellow school bus looked like an exotic treat for the billionaire beauty mogul’s daughter.

In her Instagram story, Jenner – whose second pregnancy was recently confirmed by Page Six – added a caption below her daughter’s photo. “All Stormi talked about was driving a big yellow bus. Dad surprised her.

The next photo of Jenner showed Stormi exploring the bus and looking like she’s about to embark on a big quest. While it’s not clear whether the “Sicko Mode” rapper rented or bought the bus for his daughter, the choice created some confusion for fans anyway.

Many took to Twitter to say how bizarre they found Stormi to want, as one person put it, “to play a middle class role for the day.”

Someone else tweeted, “Rich people are literally so far from reality that they bought a school bus for Stormi to sit on.”

A third intervened Tweeter, “Stormi must be playing pretend poor today.”

Other fans, however, believe it was just a gentle gesture and people are huffing it disproportionately. One person defended the couple Tweeter, “What’s weird about a child wanting to take a school bus?” you all understand they probably hired it for an hour, right?

Whether you find the situation odd beyond belief or a gentle gesture, you have to admit one thing: Stormi is living life.
