LA icon erases Dennis Schroder ‘disaster’ for AF fiasco

Dennis Schroder could very well be the last man standing in this offseason’s musical chair game. The Los Angeles Lakers free agent has yet to sign with a team, or even come close for that matter, as interest in his services has reportedly waned in recent weeks.

Now it looks like a Lakers legend is adding insult to injury. Robert horry recently appeared on The Jump and lambasted Dennis Schroder for trying to “play games” with Los Angeles when he claimed he wanted to come back.

“You said, ‘Oh, I want to go back to the Lakers.’ But you wanted to play games. Now you are the disaster of your own game plan. You don’t know what you are going to do. You probably lost around $ 60 million because you didn’t sign with the Lakers. Now you’re probably going to have to sign a one-year deal because I don’t think the Lakers are going to bring you back because they’re stacked now. They don’t have room for you.

“He wanted to start in this league,” continued the Lakers legend. Now, wherever he goes, he will be a replacement again. I just hope this doesn’t turn into a computer situation where you lose all that money and you can never get it back.

Tell us how you really feel, Robert Horry. Even former Lakers goalie Isaiah Thomas caught a stray there. The seven-time NBA champion really trusted Dennis Schroder, but you can’t dispute his points there. The Lakers intended to keep Schroder all season to be their starting point guard.

Now that they’ve moved on and the rest of the league is locking up other free playmakers, time is running out for Dennis Schroder to find a home.
