Lady Gaga is a refugee in Mexico after breaking up with fiance Christian Carino.
A source told us that the singer was seen Monday in Acre, a seaside resort on the mainland in the Baja peninsula in Mexico.
"She was with three friends," said a spy. "She had a low, smooth ponytail, a black outfit and a big diamond necklace."
A representative of the singer confirmed the split on Tuesday.
Gaga and Hollywood agent Carino were confirmed for the first time as a couple in February 2017, seven months after canceling her engagement, with actor Taylor Kinney.
Gaga did not wear her engagement ring to the Grammys this month and Carino was not present as her date.
His Mexican getaway with his buddies occurs before his Oscar appearance Sunday night.
