Lady Gaga joins Brad Pitt on the high-speed action thriller train

Oscar winner Lady Gaga logged in to join Brad Pitt in Sony’s action thriller High-speed train from the high octane producer David Leitch, Collider learned exclusively.

The film has an impressive set which includes Joey king, Aaron Taylor Johnson, Zazie Beetz, Brian Tyree Henry, Andrew Koji, Masi oka and two-time Oscar nominee Michael shannon.

Zak Olkewicz wrote the script, based on Kotaro IsakaJapanese novel by Maria beetle. The story contained follows a group of assassins with conflicting motives aboard a fast train in Tokyo. It’s unclear if Lady Gaga will play one of the assassins, as her role is being kept under wraps, but one source describes her as a smaller supporting role rather than a lead role.

Leitch producer partner Kelly mccormick will produce High-speed train through their 87North banner with Antoine Fuqua by Fuqua Films, including Kat Samick will produce executive alongside Ryosuke saegusa and Yuma Terada of CTB Inc., the company that represents Isaka and the underlying intellectual property. Sony Brittany Morrissey will oversee the project on behalf of the studio.

Lady Gaga leaves A star is born, which earned her an Oscar for Best Original Song, as well as a well-deserved Oscar nomination for Best Actress. High-speed train should serve as a follow-up to this film, as Ridley scottof Gucci is still far away. She is expected to star in this movie alongside other Oscar winners Robert De Niro, Al Pacino and Jared leto, as well as twice nominated Pilot Adam.

Lady Gaga’s past feature film credits include Sin City: a lady to kill and Machete Kills, and the Grammy-winning singer also performed in 2014 Most Wanted Muppets. She is represented by CAA.
