Lady Gaga is ready for the opening day.

The pop star revealed on Instagram on Wednesday that she had arrived safely in Washington DC ahead of tomorrow’s nomination for President and Vice President-elect Joe Biden and Kamala Harris. The “Stupid Love” singer is expected to perform the national anthem at the swearing-in ceremony.

In the photo shared with fans, Gaga poses inside the Capitol building wearing an all-white custom cape dress, courtesy of Givenchy by Matthew Williams, which she paired with a matching face mask. She styled her platinum locks into a braided bun.

In her caption, the star alluded to the traumatic riots that took place on Capitol Hill last week as she wished for love and non-violence.

“I pray that tomorrow will be a day of peace for all Americans. A day for love, not for hate. A day for acceptance and not fear,” Gaga wrote. “A day to dream of our future joy as a country. A non-violent dream, a dream that ensures the safety of our souls. Love, from the Capitol 🇺🇸”

Gaga was also pictured outside the Capitol building, as she greeted National Guard soldiers.

Gaga isn’t the only superstar to take the stage on opening day tomorrow. Other musicians Jennifer Lopez, Justin Timberlake and Demi Lovato are also scheduled performers for the day’s celebrations.

Gaga was a strong supporter of the Biden-Harris ticket before the presidential election last November. In addition to encouraging her fans and followers to vote with a series of encouraging social media posts, she also performed at a fundraiser in Philadelphia for the president-elect.
