Lady Gaga’s dog walker Ryan Fischer is briefing fans on his health journey after being shot while walking the singer’s three dogs last month.

In an Instagram post written on Monday, Fischer, 30, said his recovery had not been a straight line and he had to stay in the hospital longer than expected because his lung had collapsed several times.

He described how “strange hissing and glugging” came from his chest “every time I breathed”.

“The air filled my chest cavity,” he added. “In addition to accepting the news that I was about to be readmitted, several nurses and doctors told me how they were in the room when I entered with my shot. How they didn’t think I was going to get there.

Fischer was rushed to hospital where he underwent surgery, and luckily a few days later Gaga’s dogs were returned unharmed.

Fischer previously said in an Instagram post: “I am honored and grateful that the attention and focus of the police was enough to get Koji and Gustav back to safety, and I know they are determined to bring these criminals to justice and those attempted murders. I’m so grateful for everything you keep doing. “

Gaga had offered a reward of $ 500,000 for the safe return of her dogs.

The police are still investigating the crime. Video surveillance from a neighbor’s house showed a white sedan pulling up and two men jumping.
