Lady Gaga’s dogs safely recovered after robbery

LOS ANGELES (AP) – Lady Gaga’s two French Bulldogs, who were stolen by thieves who shot and injured their walker, were found unharmed on Friday, Los Angeles police said.

A woman brought the dogs to the LAPD Olympic Community Police Station just northwest of the city center at around 6 p.m., said Captain Jonathan Tippet, commander of the Elite Robbery and Air Force Division. homicides.

Lady Gaga’s rep and detectives attended the station and confirmed they were the dogs, Tippet said.

The singer is currently in Rome to shoot a film.

The woman who dropped off the dogs appeared to be “uninvolved and not associated” with Wednesday night’s attack, Tippet said.

In a tweet Friday night, the LAPD said the woman found the dogs “and contacted Lady Gaga’s staff to return them.”

His identity and the location where the dogs were found will not be disclosed for his safety and due to the ongoing investigation, the LAPD said.

Dog walker Ryan Fischer was shot once while walking three of the singer’s dogs in Hollywood. The video showed a white sedan pulling over and two men jumping. They struggled with the dog walker before one of them pulled a gun and fired a single shot before running off with two of the dogs. The third escaped and has since found Lady Gaga’s representatives.

The dog walker can be heard on the video saying he was shot in the chest. He should survive his injuries, Tippet said.

Lady Gaga repeated her offer of a $ 500,000 reward for the return of her dogs – whose names are Koji and Gustav – on Friday without asking questions. Tippet said police were not involved in the award, so he was unsure whether the woman would receive it.
