A man died and at least four other people were injured Thursday night when gunshots erupted outside a bar in Lake Ozark, Missouri, according to reports.
At least one of the injured people was rushed to a hospital in Columbia, Missouri, for treatment, KRCG-TV of Columbia and Jefferson City reported.

The shooting was allegedly linked to a gang, according to a statement released by the City of Lake Ozark.
Neither the dead nor the injured were immediately identified by the authorities.

City officials said in their statement that the shooting was unusual for the region. They said more information will be released as the investigation develops.
