Mackenzie Adams stole the hearts of many with her viral teaching videos on TikTok, and on Wednesday night she was able to be a part of the opening special, “Celebrating America.”
The Glenwood Elementary kindergarten teacher presented the Seattle Foo Fighters for their rendition of “Times Like These” after a message from the president thanking the hardworking teachers who went above and beyond during the pandemic.
“It’s been a tough year for our students, and I’m so proud of all the teachers, parents and students across the country who have adjusted and made the most of a tough time,” said Adams, standing in front of the Seattle . horizon.
Adams also received a shout from Dave Grohl of the Foo Fighers.
