The Los Angeles Lakers would have an interest in veteran center Dwight Howard following DeMarcus Cousins' ACL tear during the off-season, according to Shams Charania of The Athletic and Stadium:

The Lakers have been patient in their approach since the injury of Cousins, and Joakim Noah is another veteran center accomplished in the market. Howard should be released by Memphis. https://t.co/mvLx2jsS8Q

Charania also mentioned Joakim Noah as a possibility.

While the Cousins are likely to miss the entire 2019-2020 season, the Lakers currently have only JaVale McGee in the center, though superstar Anthony Davis is also able to play the post.
