Lamborghini teaser hints at hybrid "hypercar"

Since Lamborghini unveiled its wild concept Terzo Millennio, in collaboration with MIT, we were waiting to see what a production version might look like, and we may know it soon. Autoblog highlights this teaser image posted on the company's Instagram page, which features the logo, a silhouette and Y-shaped LEDs reminiscent of the 2017 concept.

Features such as a self-healing carbon fiber hull, electric motors in the wheels and energy storage on supercapacitors are probably not yet ready for prime time, but Lamborghini's are not yet ready for primetime, but Lamborghini's is apparently prepared for limited edition tracking since then.

The Aventador and Huracan should have hybrid transmissions at term. Lamborghini's Asterion concept has shown a possible future, but it could give a quick overview of the technology. Whatever the vehicle, we should see more at the Frankfurt Auto Show 2019 which will officially start on September 12th.
