After Larry King died on Saturday, tributes to the legendary broadcaster and old interview clips started flooding social media – particularly one in particular annoying segment between King and comedian Jerry Seinfeld.

In the 2007 music video, King discusses the cancellation of “Seinfeld” after nine seasons.

“You gave up, right? King asks Seinfeld. “They didn’t cancel you; you canceled them. ”

Seinfeld takes a break and looks bewildered before giving his answer.

“Don’t you know about this?” Do you think I’ve been canceled? he says. “I thought it was pretty well documented.”

Seinfeld’s voice rises as he continues to speak, “I was the # 1 show on TV, Larry. Do you know who i am … It’s a big difference between being canceled and being # 1. “

During the segment, King and Seinfeld search each other, according to the Hollywood Reporter.

“Did I hurt you, Jerry?” King said. … “Most of the shows don’t go down a bit?”

“Most people do, too,” Seinfeld retorts, later asking someone to ask King to review his resume.

Since this interview first aired, people have wondered if Seinfeld was really angry or joking with King. According to HuffPost, the clip has gone viral before, appearing online with headlines like “Jerry Seinfeld Tears Larry King” and being featured in the news over the years.

The comedian set the record straight on Saturday after King’s death at the age of 87.

“I have always loved Larry King and will miss him,” he wrote on Twitter. “The ‘canceled’ song was just that I play around with its little mistake. Nothing more. Or less.”

During 25 years of CNN’s “Larry King Live,” King interviewed a wide range of celebrities, from Marlon Brando and Lady Gaga to Paul McCartney and Ringo Starr, according to Variety.

Funeral arrangements and a memorial service will be announced later, according to Deseret News.
