Irving’s unpredictable and mercurial nature is probably one of the reasons why the Sixers, according to Stein, have not yet expressed interest in exploring a trade involving Kyrie and Ben simmons. Even if Irving was ready to join a new team, his ability to become a free agent in 2022 could lessen his appeal to potential suitors, including Philadelphia, Stein says.

It is not disappointing ”, said Harden. “Kai believes in what he believes in. His family is behind him, we are behind him. That’s all it is.
