Latin singer Chesca – an artist supposed to perform at Joe bidenMLK Day Celebration – Just announced she’s caught the coronavirus … but the show will continue, with her in the mix no less.
Chesca took to IG to break the news on Saturday, writing in Spanish that she recently attended a recording session at a Miami studio … where one of the producers looked sick. She says she asked if it was related to COVID, and he assured it wasn’t – he said he was having a hangover.
It’s not, it turns out … Chesca says it was COVID from the start, because everyone in the studio that day caught the virus. Chesca posted her positive test result, with a caption that read … “#F *** COVID.” Looks like she had a quick antigen test as well.
Chesca tells TMZ … “Luckily none of us have bad symptoms and feel good. We have all tested positive too. I have mild symptoms at 0 and feel good just a little bit of aches. .
She adds, “I feel good and do the show on my own. They put a camera on and I’ll be alone.” So Chesca is going to perform on Monday, as planned.
