There is the Latitude 7200 2-in-1, a removable Surface type computer for enterprise users. It's a bit thicker than Microsoft's hybrid tablets, but it comes with a keyboard. And best of all, Dell claims that IT services are fully serviceable: just remove the back of the case from above the stand. It seems a bit chunky and the crutch is not as smooth as that of the Surface, but many companies could use a powerful Dell tablet PC.
In addition, Dell launches the 13 and 14-inch Latitude 7000 notebooks. They will have aluminum or carbon fiber housings, sieves and hinges that virtually disappear when you open them. They are essentially the standard laptop versions of the 7400 and feel just as stylish. Imagine something like a MacBook Pro made from Dell, with the same kind of solid metal housings, and you'll get the idea. The 7000 series machines also feature the company's SafeScreen technology, which prevents other users from seeing the contents of your screen. In a brief demonstration, it seemed sharper and brighter than comparable HP technology, and Dell says the battery life will not hurt either.
