Intimate diaries are a unique and, to date, under-researched source, capturing the subjective and highly personal description of the era outside of the great history books. They also characterize the personality and change over time. In order to preserve these testimonies for future generations, the Latvian folklore shop invites everyone to transfer their diaries or those of their relatives to digitization. Since the beginning of the year, more than a hundred people have already answered the call and the evidence obtained so far is striking.
