Since 2003, the year of the founding of the Dižkoncerta fanfare tradition, this event has always been marked by new means of expression and quality innovations.
This time the Dais Concert takes place at the Esplanade, where several Song Celebration concerts began in the early 20th century. The concert program included only original music by Latvian composers, arrangements and finishes of folk songs. Conductors: Raitis Ašmanis, Guntis Kumačevs, Artūrs Maculēvičs, Jānis Puriņš, Egons Salmanis, Peteris Vilks, Artistic Director – Janis Puriņš, Director – Juris, and the Brbad Band with 500 brbad band musicians are produced at the conclusion.
