Audi began marketing the surveyor "Q8" in Latvia

The latest Audi "Q8" SUV, which combines the elegance of the coupe with the practicality of off-road cars, will be abandoned in distribution centers in Latvia in August, however, the sellers of the brand have already started their pre-sale. The starting price of the Audi Q8 in Latvia is 70,500 euros for a version with a 28-liter 286 horsepower diesel engine and a partial hybrid system.

The Audi Q8 is 4.99 meters long, two meters wide and 1.71 meters high. It is therefore wider, shorter and lower than the Audi Q7 model badociated.

The new Audi Q models have a "Q8" faceplate with an inclined roofline. The model also features an impressive front octagonal grille. Several details in the design of the car point to the original "quattro" model. Just like the original Audi quattro, the back of the backlight strip has a black surface. With the myAudi smartphone app, you can activate various functions and lighting options when you are away from the car.

The fully centralized mechanical differential of the Audi Q8 distributes traction on the front and rear axles at 40:60. If necessary, it directs most of the force on the axle with the best grip. Combined with the 254 mm suspension, short overhangs and downhill badistants, the Audi Q8 can continue the road, even if the roadway is no longer running.

Partial hybrid technology (MHEV) driving systems are particularly effective. The new touch concept of the Audi Q8 MMI allows access to almost all functions via two large screens, while the MHEV technology provides a durable motion with a motor disabled, activating the Start & Stop system from 22 km / h

. The 10.1-inch top screen provides information and entertainment functions, as well as management of the navigation system. The next 8.6-inch screen is dedicated to air conditioning and convenience features, navigational text input and shortcuts.

The standard equipment Audi Q8 in Latvia includes a system of information and entertainment "MMI Navigation". The optional MMI Navigation includes an Audi Connect data module with LTE and Wi-Fi. The optional Audi Connect key allows the driver to lock and unlock the vehicle and start the engine with an Android smartphone.

The Audi Q8 offers a range of additional security features for parking by car or for long journeys. These include adaptive cruise control, efficiency wizard, crossing badistance, bandwidth alert and 360 degree cameras. One of the additions is the remote garage driver for the garage driver using the myAudi application that will be introduced in early 2019.
