Belarussian President Alexander Lukashenko signed a decree that will allow tourists to stay in the country for 30 days without a visa. This option will be for guests arriving in Byelorussia by air using the capital of Minsk Airport.

Citizens of 80 countries, including citizens of the EU Member States, the United States, Australia and Japan, may reside in Belarus for 30 days without a visa in Belarus [19659002]

The authorities also report that the document signed by Lukashenko aims to attract more tourists. As before, the easing of visa facilitation will not apply to foreigners arriving from Byelorussia in Belarus as there is no border control between the two countries.
