The biggest international RTU Open 2018 chess festival organized by the Technical University of Riga (RTU) in Northern Europe will take place from August 6th to 12th, bringing together both tycoons from game of chess and amateurs

. The RTU Open 2018 will take place traditionally at the International Exhibition Center in psīpsala, Ķīpsalas Street, International Exhibition Center Ķīpsala, Ķīpsalas Street

The RTU Open 2018 will be held traditionally at the Kipsala International Exhibition Center, St. Kipsalas 8, and its opening will take place on Monday, August 6 at 16:30, while the closing date will be Sunday, August 12 at noon. 18.30

The RTU Open 2018 game will be appreciated by all chess players, finding the tournament corresponding to their level of play and their time possibilities, since the festival will propose five chess tournaments clbadics and two high level tournaments. On the other hand, the two quick action tournaments will be available until the start of the tournament. The first of the fast action tournaments will take place on August 8th and the second on August 12th in the evening.

This year, the tournament A or Grand Master will run over seven days, the B calendar will also be similar (ELO ranking up to 2299 and Latvian ranking) until 2399). The C (ELO to 2199 and Latvia to 2299) and D (ELO to 1900) tournaments will run from August 9 to August 12, while the E tournament (ELO to 1600) will be the shortest tournament in the world. 39 clbadic chess and will play from 10 August to 12 August.
