According to statistics from the International Association, most of the material on badual abuse of children came from the United States last year. In Europe, 51% of the reports were submitted in the Netherlands, 18% in France and 10% in Sweden.

The Safer Internet Center website is available. Anyone exposed to offenses on the Internet, especially materials reflecting badual abuse of children, is invited to report them. The report can be anonymous, all reports processed by the state police and based on Latvian laws and regulations.

The Latvian Center for Safer Internet is operated by the Latvian Internet Association with partners such as the National Inspectorate for the Protection of Child Rights and the Center of Latvian municipal learning. The Center has been a member of the InHope Association since 2009.
