On Tuesday, July 31, Riga opened the door of the first zero waste store "Burka" in Latvia, informing the company.
Buyers in the store will be able to buy groceries by weight, using their port.
The interior of the store is made up of renewable resources, demonstrating that old pallets and broken furniture can be transformed and reused.

Every inhabitant of Latvia uses a kilogram of small bag a year, or an average of one , two each day.
