Similarly, over the past 12 months, respondents' perceptions of the trend in household spending remained stable. In comparison, most respondents who increased their spending live in Vidzeme (72.7%) and at least one child under 18 (76.7%) is raised in the family. But relatively high spending fell on high-income people (4.2%) and those aged 45 to 55 (4.4%).

The study was conducted in cooperation with the market research center and public opinion "SKDS" in July 2018 – 1005 respondents aged 18 to 74 years participated.
