The results of these excavations were included in the fundamental work "The Archeology of the Latvian SSR" published in 1974 and dedicated to the 13th-17th century. They are always up to date, despite the time the book has been made.

In the 1990s, the scientist, an excellent translator of the Latin language, turned to editorial, commentary and translation of illustrative chronicles of Latvian medieval history.

Thus, the new "Chronicle of Indriķis" (1993) and "Chronicle of Reactions" (1998), which have been translated into a new language, are again published, but completely new. The translation of the chronicle Vartberges Hermanis (2005), which tells the introduction of the Christian faith and the involvement of the Baltic region in the culture of Western Europe in the twelfth and fourteenth centuries, as well as as the source of the history of medieval history – "The protocol of investigation on the Franciscan de Molana in 1312" (2010).

Subsequently, the work was followed by the "Chronicle of Western Europe on the White Earth." 9th – 13th centuries chronicles, translations and commentaries "(2015) and the last -" History of Dionysius Fabrice Livonia "(2016) .

Evaldas Mugurevich commented and translated the chronicles and sources of Latin medieval history, while at the same time he was an archaeologist able to compare the writings with what he himself had seen during his excavations. This made him unique and, compared to the others, was his huge advantage.He conducted excavations in places also described in the old chronicles.We will feel the loss of Eugenda Weber for a long time.In the Middle Ages, his niche will remain empty for a while, "said Guntis Zemitis, director of the University of Latvia.
