The fashion show took place in the framework of the project "Meringue" of the Latvian cultural college "cultivated". The main organizer of the project is Daina Gaga-Eke.

The Latvian College of Culture is currently the only educational institution in Latvia to offer the study program "Fashion Management and Design". In this context, the Meringue, the annual event of fashion, is the initiative of the fashion and design officials of the Latvian Cultural College in order to promote cooperation between fashion managers and designers.
