On November 24, the Daugavpils Theater hosted the premiere of the Latin American comedy "Auditor in Sylagola", whose creative team allowed viewers to see those who build their wealth, make fun of others and become times fools.
The story of Nikolai Gogol was adapted to the Latgalian realism by writer and playwright Monika Zīle. The performance is led by Oļegs Šapošņikovs. In the show
"Auditor in Sylagh" combines a particular color with the less colorful Latgalian mentality and lifestyle, making Gogol's heroes more understandable and more comprehensible to the viewer, but no less fun. It should be noted that in the performance, the heroes speak not only in Latin, but also in Latvian, English and Italian, bringing the events of the event closer to the current situation.
The director, Oleg Shaposhnikov, notes that since the birth of N. Gogol in 1835, he wrote the story of "The Auditor" (listener). Few things have changed in the form of people in power who use their selfish goals.
Although mankind has not been able to change over the years, the comedy "Auditor in Sylagh" can give viewers a good mood and an opportunity to laugh at everything. It should be noted that Gogol also thought that laughter was a powerful weapon that could, if not destroy, at least weaken all the misdeeds of the planet, including the arbitrary officials.
At the Sylagola County Municipality meeting, it is common knowledge that a recent inspection carried out in the neighborhood revealed several infractions.
Local officials panic, knowing that their municipality has sewn everything on white wires. At the same time, two foreigners are housed in a local hotel and board members make a quick decision: to save the situation by sipping the hospitality of Sylagola's mysterious guests, who are definitely dishonored by Brussels officials.
On the other hand, somewhat lost and fearing financial distress by far, he is not against such a sincere and generous welcome and decides to yield to local indigenous peoples …
After the playwright's premiere, playwright Monica Zile admitted that she was waiting for him with a pleasant excitement: "I'm a little worried about how the text will be in the actors' room, but everything was great! Daugavpils is adorable, but it's already the third show co-hosted.Of course, the most attractive was the audience that stood after the show and the comments they had not smiled for so long . "
The audience was also impressed by the musical performances of Repera Bruolan, the folk ensemble Rūžeņa and Roberto Meloni, which enriched the performances of a particular atmosphere.
The show is aimed at viewers over the age of 16, the closest performances – December 16 at. February 170 and 17 at noon 18
