Gobzem himself believes that he should have a wider discussion about the possibilities for new politicians to access state secrets, while other political forces involved in negotiations for the edification of the government indicate that they oppose the reform of the current system of tolerance, because they consider it proportional.

The prime minister's candidate said his party, KPV LV, would hold a meeting with the president to deal with the issue of admission to state secrecy. He stressed that it was not just an issue that concerned him personally, but rather "a potential threat to democracy", given that more than half of the Saeima are young members, against which all can use this type of argumentation. Gobzemu, namely that he can not be entrusted with the post, because there is no certainty as to the possibilities of obtaining a tolerance for state secrets.

Before the meeting with the president, the political forces refrained from predicting what kind of solution would be possible in the conversation.

Vejonis will be in Afghanistan until November 29 and Friday, the president intends to participate in several events in Riga.

Today, the second meeting of the talks on the construction of the government was organized. It focused on the principles of inter-governmental co-operation, dispute settlement and internal and external communication.

The next meeting, which should also be devoted to these issues, is scheduled to take place on Thursday 29 November at 1 pm in the KPV LV group.
