The Enigma group will come to Latvia in the spring of 2019 with the show "Original Enigma Voices" as part of its world tour, informs the portal balticevents.info.
The Enigma project, created by German producer Michel Crete in the 80s, shocked millions of listeners with unique and popular sounds that can not be compared to anything else. The synthesis of musical styles, Gregorian chant, ethnic psalms, church bells, organs and other similar instruments create a very specific sound, atmospheric, sometimes even psycho-sound.
An incredible record of mysterious album sales and performers have made the Enigma group one of the most popular and mysterious music projects of the 80s and 90s.
The Enigma ensemble has been inspired by many artists and producers, including the Gregorian project, which performs contemporary pop and rock songs in the style of Gregorian chant.
The three Grammy Awards, 70 million sold for sale, more than 100 albums sold gold and platinum – this is only part of the Enigma project's secret behind the surface. Despite these staggering figures, the project never went on tour and was not played live.
With the string orchestra and the band's show, the next two-hour show will include most of Enigma's popular songs combined with clbadic and contemporary elements.
More than twenty songs from different albums, including The Rivers of Belief from MCMXC A.D's debut album, featuring the composition "Amen" recorded in their latest album "The Fall of a Rebel Angel", will resonate in the show.
Andrew Donald says it will be a wonderful show and an unforgettable trip into the sound and the fabulous image of the world with unheard songs that have been heard so far.
The first members of the Enigma project will play Sadeness, Return to Innocence, Gravity of Love and many other great hits. Tickets for the concert are available at all "Biļešu Serviss" counters from 29 November. The concert will take place on March 25 at the House of Congress.
