In the first quarter finals, the four sets were dominated by Daugavpils University and three – OC Limbaži / MSG volleyball players. Both parts of the match ended in five sets and the sixth part was not lacking.
It was predicted that in Jelgava, the Daugavpils would not be easy to play in the match, and this also happened. VK "Biolars" / Jelgava and a half-stick remained behind the DU, but the winner of the dowry only came out at the end of the 5th set. Thus the entire series of matches and quarterfinals with 3: 2 (19, -21, 19, -23, 13) won the DU.
In the second duel, Limbazian volleyball players made a lighter task in their field. The opponent was also more modest – Vecumnieki, one of the leaders of the National League. In addition, OC Limbaži / MSG won in five sets, but easier than Daugavpils, – 3: 2 (-23, 18, 16, -24, 8). They, like the Daugavpils, joined the "Jekabpils Lūķi", who found themselves in the semifinals without a fight.
The last quarterfinals will be held on December 1st in Riga, where the RTU / Border Guard will host the VK "Ventspils".
