Yields were high in Rundāle and Bauska districts :: Bauskasdzive.lv

Last year, the most important yield of agricultural crops was in Latvia
Dobele, Aizpute and Nereta, according to the Central Bureau of Statistics
management data.
The statistical office has indicated that the highest cereal yield in 2017
was in Dobele district. On average, in Latvia, in 2017, one hectare was sown
38.3 cereal centers, but in Dobele district almost twice as much –
64.9 cents per hectare.

Several other districts also recorded high cereal yields last year,
which ranged from 49 to 65 cents per hectare. Including Zemgale – also Rundāle,
Districts of Bauska, Jelgava, Tervete and Auce, in Pieriga-Baldone,
Counties of Kekava, Olaine, Siena, Tukums and Jaunpils, Kurzeme – Durbes,
Districts of Grobiņa, Saldus and Brocēni, as well as in the district of Beverina in Vidzeme.

Average yield of legumes (peas, beans, beans, vetches, lupins) last year
Latvia was 29.7 hundredths of a hectare, but in several parts of Zemgale –
Auc, Dobele, Tērvete, Jelgava, Rundale,
Bauska, as well as in Kurzeme – Pavilosta, Durbe and Aizpute, in Pieriga –
Jaunpils and Sējas, Vidzeme – Region of Rūjiena and Latgale – Zilupe
harvested from 38 to 48 cents per hectare. The highest yield of legumes
was in the Aizpute area, where it was 48.1 cents per hectare, plus
more than 60% higher than the average.

In turn, the average return of rape in the country last year was 27.8 cents per hectare. Including Zemgale – Tērvete, Rundāle
and in the counties of Neretas, as well as 36 to 44 in the district of Ikšķile in Pieriga
centneri per hectare. The highest rape performance was observed in the Nereta region, where
44 hundredths per hectare were obtained.

The Central Bureau of Statistics has prepared experiments
statistical data on the average productivity of cereals, pulses and rapeseed in the regions
for the period from 2015 to 2017, using annual agricultural production
the results of the investigation. The method and size of the sampling concern the state and
regional level, but at the same time provides reliable data in the provinces.
