Gunman Berzins second place in the first leg of the World Junior Cup

Latvian sled driver siguldietis Gints Berzins took second place in the jump at the first Junior World Junior Cup on the Transcity circuit on Wednesday. In the youth group A race, Slovenia's Marian Skupek was crowned winner, which Berzins conceded in 0.27 seconds out of a total of two races.

During both trips, Latvia showed the second result, each time behind Skupek. In total, both trips were made by 18 toboggan runners.

In junior juniors, Mārtiņš Bots and Roberts Plūme of Ropaži, the last two members of the team, had not pbaded the second round, with a total of two points more than six seconds behind on first place.

The boys and junior girls will be on the track on Thursday, but there will be another World Cup next week.

In total, the juniors will have six rounds this season in the World Cup.
