Work is still in progress and 24 technical units are working on streets and bridges in general. The specialists of the department invite the drivers to the greatest caution and to a greater driving distance. It is also advisable to choose the speed adapted to the weather.

Riga's street and bridge maintenance companies are open 24 hours a day to immediately clean the main streets and bridges, and transport and transmit anti-slip materials during precipitation and frost formation. In general, 59 winter technicians are available to contractors.

Drivers should be aware that slip-resistant materials will reduce the slippery character of the roadway, but slower driving conditions and longer braking distances must be taken into account during freezing.
