The legend of the legendary Latvian automobile, Ivara Caunes, will take place on Thursday, announced his son Krišjānis Caune.
The farewell is scheduled for 20 June from 14:00 to 15:00 at the sports base of the Bikernieki Complex, 16, Sergei Eisenstein Street.
"When you say goodbye, remember that Ivar has always been a joyous person with a lot of humor, so be as positive as you can! After that, Ivars will win the final circle of honor on the Bikernieki trail, but will then be cremated in the family circle, "writes Krišjānis Caune.
Ivars Caune has reached the age of 60 years.
He is the thirteenth Latvian Rally Champion, three-time rally champion of the USSR, and was one of the leading riders of the World Rally Championship stadiums in England and Sweden.
