19. Ballet at the Jurmala International Ballet Festival On 4 August, ballet performances from different countries will be presented at the Dzintari concert hall
The festival is organized by Aivars Leimanis, artistic director of the Latvian National Ballet. This year guests from Germany, Switzerland, Croatia and Latvia will represent Korea, Mexico, Italy, Ukraine, Spain, Belarus, Belarus Australia and Latvia.
According to Martins Pučka, one of the brightest stars of the Theatrical Ballet – Simone Repele (Simone Repele) and Sasha Riva (Sasha Riva), who recently successfully toured the famous Joyce Theater in New York. The two young dancers and choreographers of Italian descent, representing Switzerland's small, very brilliant and versatile ballet troupe in Geneva, have created their professional excellence at the internationally acclaimed John Neumeier Academy of the Hamburg Ballet. After graduating from school, they danced in Hamburg ballet, where they also began the career of their choreographer. Later, they both worked in the unusual Dutch company Introdan, but now artists are working in Switzerland and are known as brilliant artists in style featuring neoclbadical and contemporary ballet.
