BK "Liepaja" presents its new logo – Basketball – Sports

The life of Liepaja basketball clubs has been maintained by the badociation "Liepājas lava" in the last 12 years in its management. Since July 2018, there are no more male teams "Liepaja Lions", nor female teams "Liepajas Papīrs".

Liepaja Basketball Association is a long-term project whose main objective is the creation of a competitive basketball pyramid of the students of Liepaja Basketball

The new logo of the team has kept the lion symbolizing Liepaja as it is represented in the dress code of the city. The badociation has also made known the new logo of its women's team.

The Liepaja Basketball Association is registered on 8 March 2018. In cooperation with the Liepaja Sports School (LSSS), which currently has 1008 basketball students in athletics, ice hockey and volleyball, they will develop a full-fledged basketball system with both men's and women's professional teams, and in the LSSS system there are 400 young basketball players, including 236 boys.

The team also announced that it includes three young players – Nikolai Zotov, Maxim Hudin and Nick Janson.The three basketball players are VEF School students, who, according to VEF Riga, are recr for the new Liepaja Basketball Club.
