The summer session of the OSCE Parliamentary Assembly this year [EDSO PA] ended on July 11 with a scandal. Cutting aloud the door, the Chamber of Deputies left the Russian delegation. They were not satisfied with the resolutions pbaded by the Assembly condemning Russian policy.
It is symbolic that the session of the Parliamentary Assembly of the OSCE took place this year in the German Bundestag. Despite Russia's attempts to withdraw from the OSCE PA resolutions that were unclear, they were nevertheless voted upon and adopted unanimously. The protest of Russia was not joined by any member of the OSCE participating states.
Seeing that things are not going right, the Russian deputies began to behave provocatively and furiously. They accused the leader of the meeting and were present in the political corruption and conspiracy against Russia. At the moment the Ukrainian deputy head of the Russian delegation took the floor, the state Duma Deputy Speaker, Piotr Tolstoy, showed his provocative gestures, simulating shots in the direction of the speaker .
Traditionally, Russia uses the OSCE PA meeting to, inter alia, accuse Latvia of non-citizens, education reform, etc. Latvia was restored this time because it did not seem to have deprived Russian members of their time and energy. After all, the Russian deputy Slutsky, in a surprising form, said that this year, the general atmosphere of the OSCE PA was more favorable to Russia than it did. Has been for many years. My observations, however, show the opposite. One can not ignore the tendency to significantly decrease Moscow's faith in Moscow and the drowning of the number of allies on the international scene
The leaders of the Russian delegation are now considering abandoning the 39, PA of the OSCE. Russia is no longer a member of the Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe. Moscow is heading into the deepest corner. After the unsuccessful meeting, Tolstoy, who has already been mentioned, publicly threatened to "fire" the OSCE PA on the basis of Russia's views.
