Each second season, Dailes Theater begins with a new production for children in the Great Hall. This year, September 1, the performance of director Dmitry Petrenko "Planet No. 85". He collaborates with playwright Justin Kļava, scenographer Sintija Jēkabsoni, costume designer Baiba Litine and music consultant Juri Vaivodu.
2018/2019. In the season, with the motto "World Clbadics in New Intonations", Dailes Theater will offer five subscription shows in the Great Hall. Like the first, on September 21st, the public will be introduced to director Frank Wekeden "Lul" by JJ Jillinger – he will also be the first to make his debut in the theater by Andris Bull.
30. In November, the premiere will be presented to the Latvian public for the production of Alexander Morfov, James Goldman's film titled "Lion in Winter". In the second half of the season, Laura Groza-Kiber will stage "Salem Witch" by Arthur Miller, premiered on February 1st. Later, on March 29, the first will be the novelty created by JJ Jillinger – Vasilija Sigareva "Karenin" based on the motifs of Leo Tolstoy's novel. But at the end of the season, director Jan Willem van den Boss returns to the Dailes Theater, staging the story of Christopher Hampton's "Dangerous Relations" based on the motifs of Laclo's Schedolle novel. The first of the production will take place on May 24th.
