The Vidzeme District Court ordered a two-year deprivation of liberty for a woman who sold non-existent tourist offers to 22 different people and businesses, according to an anonymous court ruling.
According to the judgment, a woman worked at a travel agency SIA Time 2 Travel and offered tourist services to various people and businesses, including the purchase of plane tickets. However, after receiving the money, the woman used the money for personal purposes, thus defrauding the buyers.
The woman worked under a unique system: receiving money from customers, printing airline tickets, but not paying for flights. 535 euros to pay to his victims.
The LETA agency in 2014 reported that the woman born in 1966 had used a company called Time 2 Travel Ltd. to scam. She was charged with a prepayment after promising her clients to travel abroad, but after receiving the money, she acted more.
Police removed two computers and documents by conducting a search at the company's registered address. The office of this place did not really work for a long time.
