At the concert of the XXIX International Jazz Jazz Festival "Saulkrasti Jazz" on Thursday 19 July, listeners are expected by the virtuoso Ehud Etun of Izrael, the Hungarian guitarist Miki Birtas and the bbad player "Atom" based in Latvia .

The standard composition of the band consists of a quartet – bbad, drums, saxophone and guitar, but especially for the festival, the group Saulkrasti Jazz has added its ranks with the talented pianist Áron Tálas, who is also professional drummer and singer Bea Tisza,, with whom Birt played together a lot of his own projects. The concert will present original compositions created by Birtas and Tisas.

The concert will be performed by the rock-fusion group of the Latvian Atom. The group was founded this year by four musicians: the singer, composer and guitarist of Panama Charlie Vasquez, bbadist and producer of the group. Ainārs Majors, xylophonist and keyboard player Mikelis Dzenuška and drummer Toms Kagainis.

"The band's repertoire includes both rock songs and amorous ballads loaded with strength and freedom," says Majors, the soul and initiator of the band. Born in Panama in 1978, he has been a musician for many years in South America, in Buenos Aires.

Drumman Kagain studied music for at least eight years in Latvia and elsewhere in Europe while teaching drumming.

Dzenuška studied at the Latvian Academy of Music in jazz vibraphone and is the only virtuoso of the Xsylosynth instrument in Latvia.

Every day at 15:00 in Saulkrasti, free concerts of the festival take place in Saulkrasti.

The 21st International Jazz Music Festival "Saulkrasti Jazz" hosts weekly open-air concerts, featuring jazz masters from the Baltic States, Austria, France, Poland, Hungary, Israel and Armenia. The festival will also present the founders of Armenian jazz music – the Armenian State Jazz Orchestra, the jazz-rock band of Poland Laboratorium, the Lithuanian funk music badociation Gin Gas and others.

During the festival, all week As usual, composers of percussion instruments, vocals, keyboards, bbad, guitars and wind instruments are also directed by Internationally recognized jazz artists and educators.
