The National Social Insurance Agency (SSAA) has sent out notices the persons in charge of the solidarity tax on "transfer of a party to the pension scheme of the private pension fund", with the call to submit to the SSIA information on the pension scheme of the private pension fund (level 3 pension) to which the transfer of a part of the solidarity tax must be transferred .The private pension fund must have contracted and acceded to a pension scheme. Act of a pension fund with fixed capital, informs the agency.
The first notices are sent to people whose maximum annual amount of social insurance contributions has already been reached in March of this year.The subsequent notifications of the second half of will be sent to those who reached their annual summit in April.
An application to transfer a portion of the solidarity tax to a private pension fund may be submitted:
electronically to the portal www.latvija.lv, choosing an electronic application to transfer part of the solidarity tax to a private pension fund a plan or e-mail [email protected], signed with a secure electronic signature with timestamp;
on-site in any department of SSIA or Unified Customer Service Center of the State and Municipalities
by mail (Lāčplēša iela 70a, Riga, LV-1011) .
The solidarity tax is payable on income exceeding 55 thousand euros
