The experienced Latvian hockey defender Aleksandrs Jerofejev has strengthened the Italian hockey unit "Ritten Sport", reports the club.
Jerofeyev will replace Kaju Lehtinen, a traumatized Finnish defender, who will no longer play this season due to injuries.
The Italian club is also represented by Latvian hockey players, striker Oleg Šišlonikov and defender Imants Leščovs, while Ritten Sport in the Alpine Ice Hockey League occupies the ninth position with 17 units in 15 matches.
The 34-year-old hockey player started this season on the Optibet Hockey League (OHL) squad in Riga Prizma, where he has recorded five appearances in 17 games.
In turn, he was the fourth Continental Hockey League (KHL) in the "Dynamo" Riga for four consecutive seasons, during which 153 goals scored three goals and 12 goals.
The hockey player began his career in Latvia, then two seasons in North America, in the US Ice Hockey League (USHL) and the United Hockey League (UHL). Jerofeyev then played in Finland, Slovakia, the Czech Republic and Russia.
Jerofeyev had two seasons and a half earlier in 2008/09 and 2009/10. and in 2010/11, the KHL also played the role of Nizhnekamsk "Neftehimik" and Novokuznetsk "Metallurg", taking 94 matches together, scoring five goals and making 14 badists.
Aleksandrs Jerofejev participated in seven Latvian leagues and one Olympic qualifying tournament.
