More than 30 fake websites and profiles that were created to influence the electoral process in the United States have been removed from the Facebook social network. However, the company has not yet been able to identify their authors.
Facebook representatives point out that the activities of the world's largest social network and its "Instagram" photo-sharing site are unrelated to Russian representatives who took illegal actions before the US presidential election of 2016.
