Google Street View car will again photograph Latvian roads

This Google Street View car is coming back to Latvia this summer to update local data on Google Maps, the Delfi portal said. Street View vehicle with special attention to updating information on intercity routes.

The Google Maps Street View feature is currently available in more than 85 countries around the world, as well as in the Arctic and Antarctic. It gives users the opportunity to see images of different streets, as well as objects of cultural and national heritage at 360 degrees. This option is also available in the Google Earth mobile app and Google Maps.

It is pointed out that Google is doing its best to protect privacy while allowing users to use the Street View feature in their favor. Before publishing aggregated images, they are treated with special technology, masking the faces of people and the car registration numbers so that they are not identifiable, thus protecting the privacy of individuals.

Street View also offers the ability to take photos Make a "Report a Problem" button in the lower right corner of the image.
